Terms of Sale
Full payment, including shipping and handling, is required with order. No work will proceed until payment is received. No refunds are given once order has been verified.
Refund Policy
All Sales are final. Due to the nature of our business, we process jobs as soon as we receive them. A cancellation fee will apply to all cancelled orders. Refunds are only available if they’re requested on the same business day you put the order in and if they haven’t already been sent to press.
File Requirements
All images will be cropped to approximately 1/16" to 1/8" to allow for bleed after being enlarged or reduced for reproduction. We cannot process orders that do not meet our file requirements. Templates Page.
Turnaround Times
Turnaround time refers to the time between when we start the project and when it ends. The turnaround time begins when we send your order to press. If you request a proof, turnaround begins when we receive approval on the proof. Allow several additional business days for delivery based on the shipping method you selected.
Business days are Monday through Friday. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are not calculated into the turnaround time. Turnaround does not begin until acceptable artwork has been provided. Please note that if we are unable to print your files because they do not meet our file requirements, your job status will be put "on hold-need artwork" and your turnaround time will be reset. For jobs that do not have complete digital source files and need to be designed, turnaround will begin when we have approval to print, not when the order is first submitted.
Delays
PrintingQ assumes no responsibility for delays caused by delivery carriers or any damages resulting from the failure to receive a job on time. Our expected delivery date is not guaranteed. Your order may arrive late due to unforeseen delays in delivery service, the breakdown of equipment, illness, etc.
Changing Files Once Sent to Press
Once a job has been "sent to press" from PrintingQ, no changes are allowed to the artwork, job specifications, or turnaround time. If the order has not yet gone to press, the sole remedy available is to cancel the order, pay the cancellation fee and place a new order. Cancellation fees may vary.
Complaints
All complaints must be registered within 24 hours of receiving the order. If the printed product has errors and/or defects, we will rerun the job at no charge. However, we maintain the right to judge what a manufacturing error and defect is.
Proofs
If you choose from our pre-designed selections online, you will receive an online proof within 24 hours. You are 100% responsible for the accuracy of your layouts. Please proof read all layouts carefully. As postal regulations are subject to change, you are also 100% responsible for complying with current mailing restrictions for a postcard’s backside layouts. Check with your local Post Office.
Color
PrintingQ will reproduce color as accurately as possible from any submitted transparencies, slides, photos, or digital layouts. Because of limitations in the printing process, sometimes color and density may not be reproduced exactly like the original file. The accuracy of color reproduction from digital files is not guaranteed. We bear no responsibility for color variations between submitted images and the actual artwork or product they represent.
Sales Tax
All California orders are subject to sales tax. If a customer is tax exempt, exemption certificate must be sent or faxed to us with the first order.
RGB-to-CMYK Conversion of Images
You will have more control over your printed job if you convert all of the images from RGB to CMYK before sending them. When we receive RGB images, we do our best to convert them to CMYK, but this may not always be to your liking. We are not responsible for any imperfections due to received RGB images. Though monitors always use RGB to display colors by default, viewing them in CMYK will give you a better idea of what your image will actually look like upon production.
Order Refusal & Violation of Copyright
PrintingQ reserves the right to refuse to print anything improper or anything that is accepted as illegal. PrintingQ is not liable for any damages resulting from violation of copyright laws or illegal use of trade names, slogans, photographs, graphics, original artwork or any creative work provided by the client to PrintingQ. The customer is fully responsible for the legal title of all materials submitted to PrintingQ for printing, design, web publishing or any other services that we may provide.
Policy Changes
PrintingQ may change, modify, add or remove portions of this policy at any time, and they will be effective immediately upon being posted.
